Frequently Asked Questions
How much will my cake cost?
- Your cake can cost from $250-$5000 or more.
- Custom cakes require custom ingredients and supplies. Quality ingredients like real butter, pure vanilla and other items cost more than artificial versions. Many items are imported and as such, great expense is incurred on the part of the cake designer. For example, floral paste is imported from the UK. https://www.sugarcity.co.uk/products/platinum-paste
- Pricing is determined by the size of the cake, complexity of design, and the labor and materials required. Once we have an idea of what you would like, an ESTIMATE can be provided.
- The order is not confirmed until the final price is provided to you AND a deposit is received with a signed cake contract. (see “Terms and Conditions” below)
- Wedding cakes are priced “per serving” starting at $12 per person for a basic cake with a simple design.
- Sculpted cakes start at $15 per person for a simple design
How do I book a consult?
You can book a consult by:

Depending on the design, consults may be done on the phone, via email or in person. Wedding cakes, corporate events and complex designs are better done in person.

- We do NOT recreate other people’s work
- A rough sketch can be provided to you for approval prior to the deposit being paid and contract signed.
NOTE: Depending on the design, there may be INEDIBLE, structural components used in the cake such as dowels, wire armatures, toothpicks, floral wire, cake boards, etc. These will be pointed out at delivery/pickup.

- For best flavor and texture, your cake should be allowed to come to room temperature 2 HOURS PRIOR TO SERVING.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated or frozen in airtight containers.
- Wedding cake servings are 1″x 2″ x 4″ slices
- Party cake servings are 2″x 2″ x 4″ slices
